There are beings immune to the effects of the Soul Gem, so unless we know if Tyrant is vulnerable to it or not, we can't say either way. Galactus is immune to the effect and so were his Punisher robots.

Matter of fact, isn't Tyrant a machine? He'd probably be immune to the effects too.

So either way DP or FP, Tyrant stomps Magus.
