If this game has learned us anything, it's that sacrifice for the greater good is needed to win against the Reaper.

Also, both Control and Synthesis ends with panning over Shepards corpse among the citadel ruins, clearly those two endings are "game over", while Destroy ends with Shepard alive.

Except it isn't, because there's two other opinions. And genocide cannot be justified if there's an alternative.

Shepard lives in Control, kind of. And Indoctrination Theory is bunk.

There are no alternatives, only death.

I chose destroy... but tbh, I didn't find any ending to be a good one.

Well another reason I think Control is the best is that it's less drastic and irreversible than the other two. Reaper Shepard can probably just explain what happened and if people have a problem with anything it can be resolved. At any point Shepard could decommission the Reapers or pilot them into a black hole. I really don't see a downside to Control besides Shepard's own corporeal "death."

Also Control is the ****ing coolest ending I mean comeon:

He becomes the God-Emperor?

More or less.

Shit like that is why I didn't like it, but I can understand why people did.

A big part of each ending for me is the music. And I love the synthesis music.

I also find Edi's voice over at the end very moving and beautiful.

While I have no problem with the idea of control, the music to me makes it seem sinister, which fits if you played renegade but the tone with a paragon shep doesn't fit, imo.

Sure, Bioware may have spun the Synthesis ending as the "good" choice but it doesn't change the fact that it is ****ed up beyond belief.
