This is J.M.DeMatteis's description of Glory.http://marvel.com/news/comicstories.13685.chaos_war~colon~_thor
Though minus the Destroyer Armor, then maybe Glory is below Odin w/ Destroyer Armor and the Essence of all the Asgardians(except Thor).
Hm. Good read. Certainly puts Glory in a new light if the writer himself describes him like that. Still, writer didn't really portray him at Odin's power level (especially SA Odin), but then again, writers tend to portray cosmics/skyfather power levels differently.

With one showing, I couldn't begin to figure out if Glory could beat Thanos. I however can't wait to see how Thor does in part 2. Very good read btw.

Thor only beat him using his own (Glory's) power against him. How could Thanos do that?Glory wins
Well, absorbing power and sending it back is actually part of Thanos's powerset. But mjolnir does it better -at least the sending it back part-.
For all the hype Glory has he fell against a tactic Thor rutinely uses against Kang ermm
I guess that makes Kang trans level 😈

I don't really remember Thanos absorbing energy blasts without harm. If that was the case, galactus and Odin would not be able to hurt him.
Thor using that tactic doesn't mean at all that Glory wasn't that powerful.

Yep, it makes sense.
