The Authority vs Nextwave

Apollo
Midnighter
Hawksmoor
Swift
Engineer

vs

Photon
Elsa Bloodstone
The Captain
Boom-Boom
Machineman

Two scenarios:

First: No city symbiosis for Hawkesmoor, and Engineer is at World's End levels when her powers were limited.

Second: Full powers but it is assumed Engineer can't control Machineman.

No carrier access.

Is this some kind of "can Monica solo the Authority" scenario?

I don't know much about Machineman, and even less about Elsa and Captain.

Based on Bentley's response though, it doesn't seem like they'll help much?

Probably Nextwave, because of Photon.

still the authority,
first one authority wins because of engineer and apollo
second one hawksmoor wear the city and beat the crap out of nextwave
