Wah Sin Ku(Lethal Weapon 4) vs Mai Linh(Live Free or Die Hard)

Thomas Gabriel had made a mistake his most recent rash of cyber crimes had brought him into conflict with the Triad. Who apparently don't like their sh!t stolen any more then any one else. Especially their money which is what Gabriel had managed to do when relieved a local bank, used by the Triad as a front of its money. With it resources the Triads response was quick and brutal. They brought in Wah Sing Ku who ate his way through a number of Gabriel's men in short order. Desperate to resolve the situation. Thomas sent in his best to take out Sing Ku, his best at least in his mind was of course Mai Linh.

Both believing they have set the other one up. End up facing off in the same place as the final fight from "Punisher: Warzone". Shown here

Contrivances of plot dictate that this fight will begin as a hand to hand fight, but they are allowed to make use of the environment.

So who eliminates who?

Yes?

Did I do something wrong? Is this some how more one sided then I thought?

And of course the obvious question, who do you think wins?

Wah rapes her in the nostril.

Regardless of wether or not Sin Ku actually wins by killing her, before that happens, at some point in the fight, after Mai Linh is bested hand to hand and KOed, Sin Ku gets on with the business of saving the eastern seaboard.
Whilst he is distracted by this, Mai Linh wakes up, sneaks up on Sin Ku kicking him through a window, temporarily inconveniencing Sin Ku.
She is then rebeaten and killed of course with an SUV in the botty when he gets back up to her floor..

Living Mai Linh the clear winner.

(Mai Linh wins the fight almost posthumously, yet legitimately by all previous RJ's definitions.)

Nah, dude would just as soon nuke the eastern seaboard.

If you are attempting to replay the fight from Die Hard 4 with Sing Ku in place of McClane then you forgot the part where the fight begins when he sneaks up on her with a guns and is then quickly disarmed and knocked on his ass. Causing her to return to destroying the Eastern Seaboard allowing him to sneak up on her. At which point the above quoted happens.

So perhaps RJ's point and rightfully so is that in the Die Hard 4 fight if Mai Linh had pressed her original advantage, Remember she laid him out for 6-8 seconds, returning to her computer before he got back up, their is a good chance she would have won the fight.

An excellent chance.

Why? McClane is a tough, experience fighter. Who has bested trained fighters before and she seemed at least even with him. Perhaps better as far as pure Hand to Hand went.

McClane sucks h2h. He always, without fail, has to use a weapon to win.

It's not a given though. Remember, while Mac was dazed, he didn't seem to go completely out. Meaning that he still could have recovered, he's come back from worse beatings and tighter spots.

Then you must think Mai Linh sucks H2H as well. 'Cause the first time McClane put her down was hand to hand.

Are you saying he didn't put her down Hand to Hand? 'Cause he did.

As for Riggs he has nothing to do with this conversation.

McClane never lost consciousness.

Mai Linh did though. Hence the McBesting assessment.

Riggs shot most of his enemies. (when Rodge wasn't there to do it for him, of course) So don't let your Riggs blindness run too far away on this one.

Toldja so haermm

Doesn't matter if he lost consciousness, he was dazed enough that she could have easily pressed the advantage and remember it was only after she decided not to press said advantage that he was able to knock her out. Of course soon after she knock him out a window and briefly it appeared out.

A couple of the main bad guys he took out with guns, but a lot of the thugs and secondary bag guys he took out in melee combat. Like Joshua and Vorstedt(well he finished him off with a cargo container, but he beat him h2h first). As well as Triads and Embassy security etc.
