Mister X Vs Backlash

It depends on if Backlash has CIS on or off.

By default it's on, so he'd probably lose.

I don't know, CIS might be irrelevant, current Slayton is kinda old and washed up. His is missing a leg, his powers barely work and when they do they drain him.

I'm using Backlash at his peak.

You are right though. He looked pretty damn bad recently. Do you think he could still even do a mist kill if the OP allowed it?

I don't see how that will affect the outcome. Backlash can turn to mist and knock him out that way. Something that happened to X in Thunderbolts. Forgot about that. Plus his stats are enhanced greater than X's.

The problem for Backlash is X's tp, but he has that as well.

When has backlash shown telepathy?

He's shown tp and TK abilities when he was exposed to gen factor. He's pretty durable and strong. He could definitely ko X.

He's also stopped Zealot and has more experience than X.

Let's use current Backlash. Peak Backlash would be almost a stomp from what I see in his respect thread.

That would be a stomp in favor of Mister X then if current is being used as Srankmissin mentioned his all wash up and old.. Peak as Pre-Kherubim it would be stomp in favor of Backlash, just too much abilities/powers at his disposal; instant healing after turning into mist,unlimited partial to full mist form, poison mist form, transform other to mist form, tp/tk, psychokinetic blast, astral form, etc, etc.. Kherubim Backlash would be much suited for the match as his abilities are much more toned down - im thinking split even or maybe slight edge to slayton - ..

Also, his stats aren't enhanced beyond Mr. X's.

He only needs to mist once. Hell, he even mist INSIDE an alien once. And he has displayed TP blasts in his respect thread. Courtesy of Ambient. 🙂

Backlash has tangled with Savage Dragon. Both who are stronger than more durable than X.

why are we assuming misting will hurt mister x?

Not the mist itself, but X will have a hard time making contact. Plus, he can mist inside his body and cause all types of problems.

I hate to have to say this, but tangling with super strong/durable foes is standard street/low meta stuff. Mr X also "tangled" with Namorita who is stronger and more durable than Backlash.

That said, I do think Backlash can win this. I just think going melee with Mr. X. is a bad idea, and I think Backlash may not realize that in time to start misting around.

I'm strictly going off what he has done in battle. Anything that he does in battle, I use in the forums. And he did a Psi blast against Helspont.

one time feats don't become standard abilities though..........

also simpl;y becuase he used a psi blast does not mean he can prevent mister x from reading his mind.

Backlash can also prevent someone from reading his mind and he's done his mist abilities a lot more than once. So, it's standard.
