German “flesh mob” strips in airport to protest of TSA body scanners

The Pirate Party of Germany has had enough of the nanny state. They took it upon themselves to protest against scanners by stripping at the airport while handing out pamphlets against these scanners. The flesh mob!

The protesters marked their bodies with a number of messages such as, “Something to hide?” and “Be a good citizen — drop your pants.”

Ive also read and seen videos of security in the USA fondling people who refuse to go through these scanners, not to mention the possible radiation danger. Not sure if there´s any truth in these claims.

There have been cases of "groping" and such. I specifically remember an instance where some chick with big fake boobs got stopped at an airport because the security decided to check her cleavage for hidden weapons.

I was watching the US version of this on FOX. They kept talking about the "outrage" but their reporters couldn't find a single person in the airport that actually cared.

It's so hard for me to conclude on this.

There's probably 1,000,000 shitty negative events that occur for every one single "potentially" bad event circumvented. I remember being pulled aside for having a cell phone car charger in my bag, which was next to a thick book. From the x-ray, it looked like a trigger connected to a bomb: if we lived in a cartoon. 😐 It was suposed to be serious business and I was about to be in big trouble (I was surrounded by TSA agents and they pulled aside in some weird area outside of the regular routine (out of sight)). I actually laughed at them when they showed me the x-ray.

But, I have nothing to hide. I don't want all of that radiation, of course, but I still have nothing to hide.

Because most people believe the scare mongering which is going on nowadays.

Most people don´t give a crap and just want to get their flight with as little hassle as possible. Leave the "getting blown up by some nutter" problems to the authorities, they know what they are doing.🙂
