he knows he's not gonna overpower his opponent...so he usually resorts to trickery

Those are two guys, and their behavior is not admirable. Basically no other superheroes kill, that one time WW snapped Max Lord's neck excepted.

There is a crap load of characters that would take the joker's head off without a second thought. More so in marvel than DC, but specially in Image.
