Sauron vs Venom

You must not like Venom....Isn't Sauron a team killer?

Gargan is an auto loss against anyone..

Gargon is TOO MUCH!

IMO Venom may have the versatility in his arsenal to actually take Sauron out, the only real problem is the CIS factor. If Eddie goes into brawl mode he'll get curbed. If he utilizes his symbiote intelligently he can take this.

well in character is the basic forum fallback..

you think Eddie will try to brawl it out with slashes, bites and punches?

i think Sauron would BBQ him if he tried that.. flame breath..

how good is venom's fire tolerance now?

Actually it's not that bad at all for a "weakness" most people without having it as a weakness would die by the amount and times of fire he went through.

the sym just takes the brunt of the attack weakening him and the regeneration does the rest later keeping them alive.. gotta ask how much flame heat venom can take..

In fact he tanked more fire more often than it ever really effected him as an out and out weakness.

He's been set on fire and ignored it, he's fought inside infernos numerous times...

Lots of it. He's weak to sonics but fire barely effects the symbiote at all these days. Also its true he's a brawler but can fight smart when he needs to.

Sauron has energy blasts, and while Venom can tank fire to an extent, it still leaves him rather exhausted to do so.
Plus the flight advantage.

Of course I made that statement under the opinion that Sauron can hynotize venom..... which he may not so under futher consideration....
I was talking out my ass... okay new conclussion... Venom can win if he stays smart.. if he goes into brawl mode he opens himself up for a number of attacks that we can only suppose may or may not hurt him/effect him... if they do work though... he's not going to be in good shape.

I just found out that Saurons a ten ton lifter. Venoms way stronger. I guess it comes down to how effective the energy absorbtion power works on the symbiotes.

i was gonna ask where he got his info and point out on panel average feats.. and even if his strength were just 10 tons this isnt a bench pressing contest no matter how many ppl like to term them into..

Will the Symbiote take over if Sauron attempted hypnotism?

Has hypnotism ever worked on Venom? You would think that it wouldn't.

No proof of hypnosis resisting means we don't have grounds for it, symbiote be damned.

Sauron might be able to hypnotise Brock himself, but in that case the symbiote will still be in controle of his body. I doubt Sauron can controle the alien.
