in a standard fight no one starting off at the high end of their powers, apollo would get raped ala the commander by grey hulk..

i keep thinking of the fight fixit had with the thing in the park.. and the punch he took from uni spidey..

Apollo would need to go in hard and fast none stop to win or BFR,,

any other way he cant win.. not in close quarter combat and not without letting him go high end while keeping fixit low end to mild rage.

Fixit would wreck Apollo in a physical fight. From what I've seen, his Thing/Colossus level at best.

Fixit is a calmer and smarter Savage Hulk with a lower base.

I'm pretty sure almost all of Apollo's low showings happen when his power reserves are depleted.

Why are the Wolverine experts dissing poor Apollo? Is there a particular way to read those comics I don't get?

I'm not just a Wolverine expert, I am a Windstorm expert as well. Gen 13, Wildcats, Planetary, Authority, DV8, Kindred, Stormwatch all the Team 7 characters. Know it all. For a Superman clone Apollo isn't that powerful.

I agree Apollo is not one of the top Superman clones, but he doesn't need to be above, let's say, Wonderman, to be a legitimate threat to Fixit.

Apollo isn't superman, but he'd still kick Joe's ass.
