Played through it twice now. Definitely enjoyed the Vergen act 2 better. Seemed as if there was more to do and the Dragon Scale armor (not sure if I missed it the first time) is so much better than what you could get on Henselt's side.

Anyway, fantastic story, graphics, gameplay. Only issue with it is the ending. Never wanted this game to end. It's one of those rare games that you don't want to leave that universe. Excellent follow up to the stellar first title.

The only thing I really lack, concerning the ending, is a short showing of what your actions meant in the long run. But that might have something to do with the DLC they are saying are in development.

So I ordered the Witcher 2, based on the comments about this sequel and how I enjoyed the first game it looks to be a good choice.

Bought this the other day off Steam for $30 during a sale. So far am loving it. Has great atmosphere and some of the best graphics I've seen in an RPG. The dialogue trees are solid and the characters thus far are pretty interesting.

Awesome game. Playing it now that I beat Skyrim's main quest. Gestalt is an interesting protagonist

This game is free until Feb 7 on 360. Its backwards compatible too, so download it and play it on the one if you guys like.

So only downloading it on 360 can I play it on One? I see Witcher 2 on the Xbox One store but no option to download. What's even odder is I have the discs but Disc 2 isn't compatible yet Disc 1 is. Makes no sense unless I can play the whole game on Disc 1 now. Can I?

Sure glad I spent that money on gold. One more added to the buyers remorse list. 🙂

Seriously though, can multi-disc games compatible with One be played without the secondary disc? Anyone try playing Deus Ex with discs? Anyone?

Combat doesn't seem so hard. Just keeping the quan up most of the time is good enough. Traps for crowd control, and the telekinetic push spell for shield guys.

Combats not exactly fun overall, compared to Dark Souls and Dragon's Dogma, but a step up from Skyrim's.

I found the combat to be pretty fun and engaging. Especially once you start unlocking the group finishers and stuff. But yah, compared to something like Dark Souls it's not even close to being that good. Still, night and day better than Witcher 1.

And honestly, Witcher 2 is mostly about the story and the characters. I love the world of the Witcher. The Witcher games got better with every release. 3 is by far the best, 2 is extremely good but not as good as 3 and 1 is a tremendous story but definitely the one that holds up the least over time.

Beat the second which I loved. Purchased the third but haven't found the time to get into it. Still greatly prefer Dragon Age to this but number two isn't so bad.
