Bond (Sean Connery) vs. Bond (Daniel Craig)

Bond versus Bond, each in their prime. That means Connery circa 1963 (From Russia With Love) and Craig circa 2006 (Casino Royale).

(these fights are set in ~1963. no gadgets)

Scenario 1: H2H, in the streets of Prague one summer night. (just to have a simple one)

Scenario 2: Takes place aboard a large yacht that Connery has appropriated, and is currently hosting a cocktail party. Both bonds are drinking Vesper Martinis 😄 . Also, because of the crowd of people, they can't use firearms or fight in the open. Thus, any time they encounter anyone on the yacht they have to pretend that they're not fighting until they can reach another room or section of the boat.

Yep. i just discovered this forum an hour ago, thought the concept was fantastic. I hope my first attempt at a vs. scenario isn't completely ridiculous.

Daniel Craig would whoop his ass in a straight up fight. He's arguably the most beastly out of all the Bonds.

I think Sean Connery Bond could think of a way to outmaneuver Craig on the yacht though.

was it? i searched "bond" as a whole to make sure it wasn't (since it seems obvious), but as i said i'm new to the site so it's entirely possible that i missed it.

To be fair he is the oldest in canon. Craig's starts from the beginning.

Craigs= Brutal fighter.
Sean's= Charismatic
Brosnon= Best all round.

LOL What? Craig's Bond was not the best Bond, nor are his feats nearly as impressive as Connery or Moore's. Bronson's Bond wasn't bad at all feat wise. But Craigs? Please.

Didn't Connery kick ass in From Russia with Love. I read it was his best and after that the series became stupid with its joke characters and escapes shenanigans.

Craig is the baddest of the Bonds to date in terms of ass-kickery.

Moore would kill them in h2h.

Moore relied on the Judo-chop, that and the goons he took out were generally useless. Jaws being the exception, though he outwitted that guy in fights, was more comical.

Moore's to Bond what Adam West was to Batman.

^ No way. Both Moore and Connery were way to badass to even compare to Craig. Especially feat wise. Craig is a good Bond, but he's by far the weakest of the Bonds.

Saving the planet in impossible-style scenarios, sure, but in a fight? Craig, dude.

I ran a search and this particular Bond match up is not a dupe.

Connery and Moore had more ridiculous luck feats as well as gadgets, but in a straight up H2H fight, Craig's Bond would brutalize them. The guy was taking out 3 or 4 men at once with little difficulty.

As far as H2H combat skill goes.....
1.Craig
2.Lazenby
3.Connery

......the rest frankly don't compare.
