Ex PlayStation Exec: A Sony-Microsoft Partnership Could Be Inevitable

The idea that Disney can buy Microsoft is funny actually.

Considering Microsoft is one of the richest companies out there, its ludicrous to think Disney could buy MS.

The problem with such a merger is that there is still the possibility of an unknown player popping in and creating yet another console war. Names like Phillips, Apple, Mitsubishi, Panasonic... the list is long. All of these mega-corps could jump in if Sony, and Microsoft merged. I don't think it would happen.

I would think that Microsoft might just buy out Sega or the other way around (whichever way is more feasible.) I'm not looking for an argument here so anyone who wants to try and start one; have fun talking to yourselves. I figure that what companies do is their own choice. Bungie was making a decent amount of money then just broke off with Microsoft and stopped producing Halo and what not. For all we know, Microsoft might just go out of business. The future is unknown! D:< FORWARD WITH TOMOCHI!

Mircrosoft isn't going out of business anytime soon. I don't think anyone can see Sega even having the money to buy Microsoft out.

Neither Microsoft nor Sony are in any danger of going out of business. They aren't pure gaming companies, so even if they did have a console completely fail they'd be just fine.

The Sony Soft Station Box. It's been confirmed people..

j/k.

at least there'd be alot of dough backing the project. the best of the best'd be on the job (together) creating the ultimate video game console the world would ever see.

Sounds like a fanboy's wet dream.
