Death granted him no extra power.Just the ability to kill unkillable beings like he normally would.Its not like he has an amp against unkillable beings.DD can and will evolve past him and beat him.
His power allows him to kill things, like Doomsday again and again.

Thanos had him choked like a teen victim whereas odin saluted Thanos who wasn't even defeated.

You can't dismiss certain showings when you want to. That's called bias.
