Re: Words you enjoy using; which, others rarely use

I just used the word wittol, in response to a crude and ignorant attempt to insult me by someone fat. Its a wonderful word and insult; also, it seemed to fit this individuals sexuality perfectly. What words do you like which are rarely used, i'm not talking about merely insults... I'm talking about words which can enrich all our vocabularies.
When I speak Spanish I like to say "carnal", but I've come to realize that it's a generational word. It's rarely used by anyone under 30 anymore.

no, I use the terms properly 😉that was actually good though, I chuckled.
Yeah ganglia, in any form, sounds perverted to me. 😄
Therefore
Toward [there is NO "S" at the end. EVER. So I guess this is more of a grammar Nazi thing.]
Oxymoronic = adj form of "oxymoron" [like "pretty ugly," "amazingly plain," and "military intelligence."
Vouch [Hey, you'll step up for me, right?/Hey, you'll vouch for me, right?"]
Subtle or Subtly
Slightly
Vouchsafe
And I also have my little British vocabulary that only true friends hear out of me :
"What ho, old bag? [bag, bean, sack, chum, etc.]
"What what?" a la Sir Pellinore
"It's a tid bit nippy outside." [a little chilly]
"Pip pip!"
"Cheerio!"
and my favorite, "Toodle pip, what what!"
