Jesus was a cannabis user
Just came across an article claiming that Jesus used cannabis .
"Jesus was almost certainly a cannabis user and an early proponent of the medicinal properties of the drug, according to a study of scriptural texts published this month"
Well if its good enough for him, its good enough for me🙂

Their evidence seems to be that some people think that maybe one of the ingredients in the oils he used for anointing might have possibly been an extract of cannabis, but no one can really be sure because the language has changed so much since the text was written.
Stretching that into "Jesus was a stoner" is pretty egregious.

to be fair, he almost certainly consumed it as part of a meal at some point. iirc, hash has been eaten in that part of the world for a long time.

That's true, there's a good probability that he consumed it at least once in his 30-odd years. It's even been discussed in several shows on the History Channel. But using an attention-grabbing title like "Jesus was a cannabis user" seems to imply that he liked hitting the bong while wearing a tie-dye shirt, listening to Indian sitar music and watching Cheech & Chong all at the same time.
