Last airbender aang can enter avatar state at will according to the film, and he's in control. Aang solos, with Pakku it's overkill

That simple? I really don't think it's that simple.

If it was Aang from the cartoon in season one I'd definitely give you that, but seeing as how he can enter avatar state on cue, and stay completely in control in the movie he's immensely more powerful than he should be. Not to mention you've put the location of combat in the northern water tribe, which means everything around them is ice and thus Aang and Pakku's weapon.

And the Jedi have lightsabers, precog, force speed and force attacks.

I'm well aware of what the jedi have, but precog isn't going to help much when they have a ****ing tidal wave coming at them 😬
