LOL, what are you doing jinzin?!
You forgot your own rules:
Originally posted by jinzinBWAHAHAHA. Black out all the panels that are "irrelevant"!!!
Now I suppose we could include the posturing and such but that would dictate we use a lot of other irrelivent panels into the fray as well... to whcih again, the Ares fight takes longer.
laughcry laughcry laughcry
WHat a phail bait thread! LOL
^ But we know what you have to say! LOL:

fourth scan: easily ignored as it's a break in combat that takes place after the aformentioned second panel, you COULD include this, but it's as relivent as the shots Ares took before the last scan of his fight.
Action doesn't resume again until the fith scan.
So it was 7 panels of relivent action... sweet.

I want to hear what the masses have to say.
Well let me clear it up for you.
In the gorgon fight you can basically tell that his skills were increases at an unknown level.
Then if we actually pay a lil attention to the "detail" of the fight, it seems as if the writer gave phobes a speed boost that he has never displayed so that he could keep pace with gorgon and I'm pretty much SURE that is what happened. The phobes that fought ares would get mauled by gorgon.
Originally posted by King CastleAres trained him to that level its on panel and was stated in one of his fights not some opinion dude....
Ares never displayed that knowledge skills or feats to train someone to that level..that's like me saying Punisher taught Shingen or Ogun.
and i know the excuse/answer he is a god with centuries of experience.. but, it isnt relevant due to character history
who has the rest of the scans to this?
The current version of Phobos (Alex) was at one time a highly trained swordsman and possessed strength and endurance similar to other Olympian gods in the Marvel universe,[16] however this has since been ret-conned.[10] Secret Warriors #10 re-establishes his training with a sword. He was denied use of it by his father Ares, who required him to be proficient in all forms of arms before returning his sword.
Kinda hard to tell, Phobos was taken down pretty quickly against Ares whereas he had an extended fight with Gorgon. Obviously the first fight would seem more skilled since he did better and had more panels to showcase his skill. Also Gorgon is well known to be one of Marvel's most skilled warriors so anyone matching him (for however short a time that is) is going to appear skilled.
