You didn't refute anything I said. At all.
The Celestials were merciless and swift. Fact. They had no problem killing Odin, the Asgardians, even Earth. Fact. They wanted Thor's death like nothing else as stated by Thor (Although he might have been exaggerating).
You're argument has been that because Odin wanted Thor dead and was not able to accomplish it in one hit etc., Surfer stands some form of a chance. F*cking asinine. That Odin was busting Galaxies with his counterpart in a battle that the future of the Universe at stake. Lee's Odin = Major Cosmic Force. It wasn't a low showing for Odin, it was a high showing for Thor.
There is absolutely nothing different between the two circumstances. You just make up random bullshit because the Celestials scene forces you to change your stance or look even more foolish than usual, which you're attempting to snake your way out off. It won't work.

By the way, even in that issue, Thor was damaging Celestial armor and the like with his attacks. Unfortunately unlike Galactus, they aren't as limited to the physical plane.
