By actual showings, Marston's reaction-time makes Ezio look like a Goddamn paraplegic snail, which does not make sense, but my point is valid.
The mioment Marston sees Ezio, Ezio is dead.
Ezio's only hope is to kill him before Marston sees him, which is in fact not that easy a feat.
And there is no way past the locked room strategy, not all rooms have windows, and with a locked door he has to break through, which basically means their is no way for him to get through without John knowing, which basically means Ezio is very much ****ed.
