Exclusive as pertaining to video game consoles, disregarding PC. PC is generally considered outside the "console wars" because PCs are not a direct competitor with 360, PS3, and Wii. This has been the way the industry uses the term "exclusive" for years.

I think "what your friends have" is perhaps the more interesting nowadays with the strength of online play. Then there's also features like you said, and price.

Perhaps you could also look at what you think will happen with the platforms in the future, as both Sony and Microsoft seem to have big plans for their consoles, though I guess you can still switch next generation (unless certain things tie in with what you have right now).
