You'd be on my list for humerous, debating and posts everywhere.

We've had some fun debates.

I'd also give shouts to DDM, Robtard, BackFire and MildPosession and that's about it.

The rest of you are a bunch of dicks.

Decided what would happen if I googled; behold:

Even better if you hit "images"

did i get that right?

Yeah, what's the problem?

Will $10, about a year from now, break the bank (legit question, not sarcasm)?

Additionally, is creating a new thread and hosting it, painful (sarcastic question, not meant to be answered)?

If I were Raz, I'd do it myself, every year. I'd raise the gift card to $100. I'd host the thread, too. But I'm not. So, true to my libertarian ideals, I want the "people" to do for themselves.

If this is a problem for you (I'm serious), you can reject your title as 2010 KMC Poster of the Year and it will go to the next in line (like a movie or something). I believe that's Robtard.

DDM,

There's an easier way to get a person's address so you can mail them a picture of your average-sized and crooked(the the left) cock, just ask nicely.

I'd definitely send Brett Favre's instead of my own. 🙂

Thanks. 😄

I don't think he should be volunteered to pay the next "winner". It should be voluntary.

Who came up with the prize rule in the first place?

If a person cannot afford $10, then someone or someones could help them. I've been that broke, before.

I did.

There has to be a prize of some sort. The prize of "being the winner is the best prize" is a bit of BS, imo. That only works on kids.

An alternative could be a T-Shirt or something. A nasty T-Shirt that is passed around for years. Each winner signs the T-Shirt however they like and takes a picture wearing the trophy.

These are just ideas. I'm still open.

I think it should be raised to $25 and we could make it paypal. lol

If the person can't afford it, they could just use the money given to them, which started with me, to pay the next year's winner. This could be accomplished, also, with a special $20 bill that is passed around and the spending of the $20 bill is entirely up to the winner...but the "fun" would be vandalizing signing the bill or something and "keeping it alive."

What do you think?

Why is money being brought into this at all? Just make a fun little novelty if you want to do this every year. Bringing money and mailing and all that is going to turn a number of people off on even participating in it at all.

That's why I wish Raz would step in. Raz would only have to use a samll fraction of the money made off this site. He could host the thread each year. It would be like giving back to the members, each year, if he wanted. That's what I would do.

Novetly? Like a T-Shirt? KMC action figure?

Money is not really an issue, at all, since I volunteered to provide the first "batch" of whatever.

No, novelty like just being named the KMC poster of the year. No physical reward needs to be given.

I think the title, alone, is lame.

There has to be something of substance to winning.

You'll have to realize that a certain chunk of online goers will always be against giving out their details (to a mod or otherwise). If you bring in something physical, like money or an item, you make it "real", which is not what everyone wants from an online forum.

Personally I wouldn't have a problem with it, I remember cinemaaddiction (the old (before Dusty) Movie Forum Mod) made a game out of posting in the newly made Movie Community Thread, the three people posting most in the thread would win something. I actually got one of the prices and he did send it to me, I thought it was nice, but not everyone likes that sort of thing. Additionally you'll have to realize that you and me (and most of the people we talk to) are of age, but KMC has people of all age range, you can't expect a 15 year old to give out their address and write a check the next year.

Additionally I believe giving out and asking for someone's private details is actually forbidden in the rules, obviously not enforced, but still.

I understand that. That's already been covered: paypal or other "anon" options.

There's also using existing systems to distribute materials without giving away addresses, as well. I figured I'd get the "show on the road" by giving a prize away before the thread was forgotten or became stale.

lol @ "of age." Mating?

And, that's already been thought of: paypal. That's not the only "anon" option.

Additionally, other forums I've been on required a parent's written (usually e-mail) consent to even join if you were below 18. Additionally, mailings required more written consent for each non-standard mailing (there was a semi-annual "news" letter mailed out...yeah, this was OOOOLD internet days. Non standard mailings had to have permission from the parent's. This was back in the day when you could check an e-mail header, fairly quickly, for an IP that matched your user accounts.)

No one asked for someone's private details to be posted. No one gave out private details in public, either. I suggested PM, and I would expect it to always be that way: voluntary and in private.

Additionally, there's very few posters that I would feel comfortable enough with to ask them to PM me their shiznit. Robtard and Dave_97 were the frontrunners and two people I feel comfortable enough with to not care if they have my "forwarding" address for the mail I'd send them.

I understand that some people do not have anything better to do with their lives besides stalking Dave_97. Some openly admit to doing that. 😆

I like the idea of a tangible trophy being passed around and/or signed with pictures.

There's an easy way to keep it all anon by using a large trusted 3rd party. Gotta go...talk about it laterz.

We did something similar in an old forum I admin'd. The winners were simply given signature pictures with "funniest poster 20--" etc in them.

I don't want to argue, especially not what you want to argue about.

Fact is many people don't feel comfortable giving out their address or even paypal (many people don't even have paypal)
