Freddy Krueger vs Doctor Manhattan

For the purposes of this fight, Freddy doesn't need to be in the Dreamworld in order to have his powers.

Doc and Freddy are on an abandoned Earth. Both are at their peak.

How? Freddy is a supernatural being, outside of Doc's molecule manipulation abilities as well as his other tricks. If anything, it's the contrary. There's nothing stopping Freddy from blinking Osterman out of existence.

He couldn't blink him out of existence, if he has all the powers that he has in the dream world he's an immortal and should pretty much be on Manhattan's level. It really just ends up as a stalemate, neither can kill the other. Both are pretty much gods at this point.

Well, both are reality warpers, Freddy is arguably even less limited than Manhattan, theoretically.

Well Freddy's main power is that he has complete and utter control over the Dreamworld reality. If he doesn't need to have dreams then he's a full-blown, make-Anthony-Fremont-go-into-a-fetal position level reality warper and probably the most unstoppable non-God character ever put on film

I'd like to put some thought into this... but best I can come up with is :

Freddy would take the form of Silk Spectre (Freddy LOVES to go drag) and pray on the fact that Dr. Manhattan is a pussy-whipped emoFagg.

Bullshit, Dr. Manhattan admitted the only reason he was on earth was because of Spectre. He's obviously pussy whipped. To deny that would silly. When he lost Spectre, he ran to another planet to sulk and listen to Elliot Smith albums.

Yea and yet he left, without much emotion I might add.

It was stated he cares less and less about humans. He let that Vietnamese woman die when he could have effortless stopped it, yet he just couldn't give a shit. He also killed Rorschach without emotion.

I'll admit he did care for Spectre, but he did not 'sulk', he is just a bored, mostly* emotionless, godlike being now.

And I really don't see Freddy making him cry, like ever.

methinks the good doc will win.. krueger is good, but i am not sure how freddy can evade one's dreams when we never Manhattan dream
