Supposedly he was Going to devolve Galan. That's one of his powers. To mess with peoples biology.

At any rate the guy gave Galan a nice go. That feat alone makes it asinine to suggest he'd get stomped by Thanos.

If you just ignore all his other feats and focus on this one but we don't do that here. Look at his entire body of work and he's nowhere near Thanos. Galactus also can easily solo him.

Is there really anything thanos can even do it hurt HE?

I mean HE was being pounded on hulk for hours then started reforming. Thanos can't really do that much damage to him.
