The new 3 Degrees Beta's now available..some of you guys should get it and see it it's as cool as they make it sound like. Wish I could get it for work but they don't have a Mac verson....YET.

OH, but if you meant what is Three Degrees....

Well, it appears to be a peer to peer chatroom with media and file sharing capabilities, executed in real time, over a broadband internet connection.

It really is quite smart.

It seems like you can do things such as have a chat, and all the people in the room could listen to a CD being played by one of the participants on their PC and the music is piped to all the other recipients via the Internet.

I didn't read that much, but I guess it probably works with movie files as well. DVD would be a bit difficult due to the sheer size of the streaming required to maintain quality.

There's probably a lot more to it, but that was just one aspect I saw when I had a look.

yes it is.for graphics and processing it's better.

No, it's not. It is traditioally used for that, but qualitywise it makes no difference. Just depends on your personal preference.
