Yea, he did after a incredibly long fight. It's impressive no doubt. Thor entered one of his "enough" modes which he did a lot under Jurgens.
And I doubt the Desak/Destroyer amalgam was as durable as the real Destroyer. One of the reasons the Destroyer was so durable was because of it's perfect design etc. Still a crazy feat.
You do know that I was talking about classic Thor right? Since you felt like mentioning Odin relying on classic Thor. Which lead me to using the Galactus/Surfer analogy to show the fallacious nature of this argument.
Yes, as Rune King Thor when he attained the Wisdom of Odin and the Runes, he was able to break the Ragnarok Cycle. Like Odin planned. It's irrelevant however as this is King Thor. One of the reasons Rune King Thor was so formidable was because he finally became worthy of the Odin Force and it accepted him.
baka definitely not as King Thor.
Odin will beat King Thor, Odin will use the full potential of the Odin-force as where King Thor hasn't even master 25% or 50%, don't get me wrong he was on his way. As Odin had no choice into mastering it battling beings like Surtur, Ymir etc beings threw the centuries Odin had time to develop the Odin force the way he wanted it.

Yes, I know.
Odin always knew Thor was going to do things he himself couldn't.
Odin can't wreck the destroyer like King Thor did. hell, Thor minus the odinpower beat strange, hulk, wolverine, etc. to death.
One righteous hammer toss and Odin is down if at all even alive.

Exactly, you saw the difference in power in Thor disassemble where RKT owned Mangog and Loki like they were children.

facepalm I can't believe I'm in a debate against someone overrating Thor. Seriously.
Yes he does. Which is why using Mjolnir as a conduit for his power was a smart idea instead of blasting him with energy.
Haha. I forgot, you think Galactus >>>>>>> Odin for some reason.
Sure he can. At least the Desak Destroyer. Thor actually never beat Strange as far as I recall, Loki did. He had the Odin Force when he one shot killed Wolverine. Hulk and Thing was impressive mind you, but no one's debating that Thor has more impressive physical feats without the Odin Power.
Lol.
Edit: We never saw anyone defeat Strange. I said Loki because I remembered him rocking the Cloak of Levitation and Eye.

Because Galactus is far greater than Odin.
Thought Strange was there but it's been a while so maybe he wasn't. Are you sure he did when he took on Wolverine ?
I am putting the disk in now for a quick refresh.
Destroying Mangog wasn't the impressive part (At that level as Mangog was still intended to be powerful). Easily destroying Loki who had added Mangog's magic to his own and who was also drawing on power from Asgard is. I'd place Loki at average Skyfather level with all that might.

Something Odin doesn't have here and glad you agree.Because Galactus is far greater than Odin.

I'm not underrating anyone. Thor is my favorite character in comics as anyone who knows anything about me can tell you, and I'm very well versed in Thor's history. King Thor would get beaten down by Odin.
Odin doesn't have Mjolnir? Irrelevant. He can easily summon the Scepter if it isn't already included (His most used weapon).
Untrue.
He wasn't ever seen defeated on panel but I'm assuming Loki or Enchantress took him out.
Yes, he had the Odin Force.
No need:

Strange activated the artifact on the next page.

He can summon the scepter all he wants it won't save him.
Yes, off panel but we saw Thor still beat hand to hand more than likely Hulk and the Thing while depowered and taken by surprise.
Yes, I just saw this on my disk but wolverine isn't that impressive anyways.
Yes, I know.
