How many Thor's would it take to beat SBP?

Started by Deadline4 pages

I dunno man SBPs heat vision easily went through Superman. SBP could go heat vision and kill a crap load of Thors.

It really depends on how intelligently Thor fights. One Thor has beaten more impressive people than SBP. He can also simply use BFR. But, if the Thor's fight like they normally do, it could take a few to get the job done. I'd say 4 would win the majority if they use all of their powers and don't fight like Thor does against the Hulk.

Also, here's Thor against Gladiator's eye beams:

Superman doesn't have that option.

I also wonder what a godblast would do to SBP. (or 4 godblasts)

That was nothing special Deadline. As seen in his fight against Zod, Kryptonians can penetrate other Kryptonian's with heat vision.

Luckily, Thor is a lot more versatile than Superman and can do everything from blocking to absorbing heat vision.

In regards to the thread question. All you would need is a single Thor willing to get exotic and perhaps another to play cannon fodder (Prime loves it when he has the advantage in a physical fight). People are acting as if Prime punches holes in Superman or something.

Energy absorption plus Mjolnir's defenses is all the abilities Thor needs to defeat Prime. It won't even be that difficult because Prime always rushes in head first and never utilizes his speed unless someone does it first as far as I've seen.

^ Sorry but what on earth are you talking about? SBP >>>> Gladiator. A few could get the job done? 😕

I think his point is that Thor can block Prime's heat vision. It isn't as if his heat vision travels noticeably faster than Gladiator's.

Well, unfortunately I don't have a scan of Thor absorbing SBP's eye beams. But, do you have any idea of the energy Thor's hammer has absorbed? He absorbed and deflected Glory's energy blast back at him, killing him and ripping a hole in reality, this is from a being composed of 10,000 gods of many absorbed pantheons...which implies many skyfathers included. He's absorbed a galaxy busting attack and re-directed it to re-ignite a dead star. SBP's is nothing compared to some of the levels of energy Thor's hammer has absorbed. But like I said, how likely is it that Thor will use his exotic abilities? IDK. Thor tends to fight to the level of his opponent so maybe he would.

And yet Thor channeling too much energy through Mjolnir breaks it to a point where he needs strange's help to fix it hmmm...

What? That's now what happened. The only time Mjolnir was overloaded was when Thor used his God Blast. A bit of a low showing for the hammer but whatever.

Are you implying Prime's heat vision can overload Mjolnir?

A contradiction in a comic book? Amazing.

Oh no not so much that it can't stop SBP heatvision just that it has limits. Just throwing it out there

It's limits are far beyond the power Prime is capable of dishing out.

I'm guessing his using either a higher end Thor or a Thor that gets exotic.

-------------------

People need to stop acting like Prime's some damn Skyfather. Thor has faced guys on Prime's level physically and above him in power on different occasions.

Like I said in a previous thread, I have absolutely no doubt a pissed off Thor/Superman level character will give Prime a hell of a fight one on one in a comic. Probably win if someone they love was in danger.

People need to start realizing how comics work. 3 (4 at best) or more characters facing a single individual opponent start fighting stupid or become cannon fodder. There's a reason why Bart or Conner taking on Prime solo are more effective than Superman taking him on with Power Girl, and Super Girl.

I just don't rate Prime that highly.

For a majority?

No. While I think Thor could take Prime some of the time, I still see Prime's ferocity grabbing him the majority.

I'd say it would take a Quan# of Thors to beat SBP... which should equal something like 1 or 2, if I know my Quan math equations... 😉

EDIT: ZOMG... I responded before scanning for others' posts, and got to Quan, who posted "2"...

Do I know my math, or what...? 😄

More than one.
