Battle of Alderaan: HALO vs SW

Backstory: The Sith (from the MMO Star Wars: The Old Republic 'Hope'😉 have overrun Alderaan. The Republic is desperate and plead for soldiers of any kind. The Sith instead of Republic Infantry, run into 2,000 USNC Spartan-II, reinforced by 300 ODST led by Master Chief. The Sith do not get any air support or naval bombardment. It's a straight up fight on the ground.

The Sith are armed with their standard weapons (lightsaber, Force, mechanized war droids). The Spartan-II are armed with the assault rifle, plasma grenade and the all terrain Warthog. Their [Spartan-II] side arm an Elite Energy Blade.

The battle takes place in the forest just like in the trailer (HOPE). Who wins this battle?

2,000 SPARTAN-II's and 300 ODST? Aren't the numbers and relative strengths a little unusual in this case?

Um. No.

TOR isn't even out yet, so we don't know much of anything about their strengths or anything like that. And you can't just say "Sith from TOR" - the Sith don't originate in games.
