Countdown Orion was really no more powerful than usual, was he? If he was, I'm guessing it was only because of Darkseid's presence (they seem to counterbalance one another.)
Either way, Surfer wins unless this turns into a melee, and if that's the case Orion takes it every time.

Well he was supposed to have the upgrade he got from the Source, but that upgrade could have been ignored. He did show he wasn't normal as he easily swatted away the JLA including Superman with that tornado.
