I don't understand why the Matrix sequels get so much hate. As great as the first was the sequels improved upon it in virtually every way imf. They took the story to far bigger and better places, painted a far more realised picture of the incredibly imaginative world the Wachowskis created, did the impossible in actually improving upon the sense of style the first film set, created even more thrilling actions sequences that made those in the first film look relatively mild in comparison, established more of a central theme and message that the story would follow, and gave the existing characters a far greater level of depth. Reloaded was easily better than the first, and Revolutions was on par with it, imf.
