please take a look as it explores new ways that we can create a new system

The Zeitgeist Movement is a grass roots campaign to unify the world through a common ideology based on the fundamentals of life and nature. It is based on the social / technological work of Jacque Fresco and his Venus Project. The Zeitgeist Movement bypasses traditional ideas of politics, religion and the like and instead attempts to communicate how all humans are the same at the fundamental level and how it is time we start to work together on a global scale to end the seemingly perpetual conflict and suffering in our current world society.

The relationship to the films is mainly in gesture. While the films have served as inspirations for The Movement, the subject matter in the films is not to be confused with the main materials/interests of The Zeitgeist Movement itself, which focus on values, resource economics and sustainability. For example, TZM is not about 9/11, Comparative Religion, Central Banking, Financial Reform or the like. In the world today, many are active in these areas and work to resolve them on a per case basis. TZM is not interested in this - its function is to find the 'source' of problematic social phenomena and act to resolve it at its core. This is why a completely new social system is expressed in the Movement's materials.

"The Zeitgeist Movement is a grass roots campaign to unify the world through a common ideology based on the fundamentals of life and nature."

So . . . it's a conspiracy trying to establish a New World Order. Interesting.

nothing wrong with a new world order if its based on the foundations of love and freedom.

YouTube video

Except of course if you happen to not want that, then you're just being oppressed [again].

global protests?

with the global protests in the documentary, i mean.

but i wouldn't be suprised if more nations followed, which has already been the case a few times so far in the past 30 days..

in your opinion, the film accurately describes the underlying causes of the protests in north africa?

it doesn't acurately describe it no but it is still mass civil unrest of some kind. it's symbolic to what's going on now.

LOL

so it doesn't matter what type of civil unrest it is, no matter what the cause, it proves your point?

o.k. lemme oversimplify.

the mass protests happening in the zeitgeist documentary are like the mass protests going on now. the reasons for the zeitgeist mass protests are similar to the reasons the mideast protests have, and that is, generally speaking, due to governmental/economic/civil unrest.

there was no point. i merely wanted to state so.
