That's one of Zeus' failings. He just throws out blasts or punches until whatever he faces goes down. At least as far as I've seen.

You don't know what the h*ck you're talking about. We know that Thor can withstand repeated attacks from a pissed off Zeus while weakened. Granted he could not die, but that doesn't mean he couldn't be knocked out or incinerated.

You really need to get Thor's junk out of your mouth so you don't spew this nonsense. Zeus would honestly laugh at Thor even trying to step to him. All it would take Zeus is a mere gesture to depower him and turn him into whatever he choose.

Big Daddy crippled Thor with ease... only to have Zeus override such spell (which of course he can being Odin's equal or superior) and gave Thor back his powers. I'll attempt this once: We know for a fact that Odin's full power is only accessed when he achieves his full powered form. He walks around at his base. Zeus has not shown that his power is limited thus. He doesn't seem to have any deeper reservoir then what we've seen. It would explain why Odin has such greater feats than Zeus.
I'm sorry to disappoint you, but once again I must ask, what are you talking about? I can think of no such incident.

I think your missing rages point Thor is IMO one of the best for taking on beings like skyfathers He has the tools to block, absorb, redirect energy attacks with no burden to himself. How every if Zeus wants to just pound on Thor there is not much Thor would be able to do.
As rage says Zeus is = to Odin averages showing however Odin best feats are far ahead of Zeus.
However IMO Zeus is not stupid and know Thor and his opponets weel enough to fall for any of Thors redirect trick and etc.

Zeus had some nice ones but nothing close to Odin yet, i hope that changes as marvel seems to be pushing the gods more right know but only time will tell
