Who can challenge Superman's virtually flawless personality?

Stuntman Mike (from Death Proof) crushes Supes in the personality department...

"Uncle" Ben Parker

The comic version of Ozymandias was far more apathetic than the movie version. The only sign of sympathy he showed was when he asked Dr. Manhattan whether his deed was right nor not.

I do think there are some things that the movie actually did better than the comic.

Superman has a personality?

yes he is.

Then you don't read Superman.

1. Superman
2. Captain America
3. Silver Surfer

It was heavily implied that the world might have discovered the truth anyway thanks to Rorschach's journal.

He wasn't a monster by any stretch of the imagination, but I wouldn't call him a morally good person either. He was a dice rolling Utilitarian.

True. But Superman won't sacrifice 1 person to save 100. Ozy would and did.

While his personality may not be better IMO his ideals are.

If only all comic movies could be as good as watchmen.

Yes but is it actually morally superior to sacrifice 1 to save 100 or to not try to play god?

The morality of Ozymandias' gambit hinges on a Utilitarian worldview where the ends justify the means.

I believe Ozymandias was understandable, perhaps even justifiable in his plan. I don't think he did a good or morally attractive thing though.

Neither did Ben Parker in original canon 😖hifty:

Jesse Custer from Preacher would give Supes a run for his money.

He did it with his eyes.

Captain Marvel (Billy)

Lawlz. I think Starscream has a supercrush. Superman's not perfect.

Using the criteria listed, I think a view would fit. Captain America, Captain Marvel, Thor, Aquaman to a lesser extent, Blue Marvel etc. Those type of dudes.

nice, you shoehorned "thor" in there like a true thorphag 👆

cap is like superman on there surface, but he will "do what needs to be done" unlike superman.

I would agree with most of the qualities listed except I disagree with logical, and possibly rational. There have been countless times where Superman has put peoples lives in danger because of his refusal to kill. Logic would dictate that when a threat is so severe (Lex Luthor is a great example) that the only way to put a permanent stop to it is to kill it, then you kill it.

Now that being said my vote for best personality is Wolverine, on the outside he has a tough as nails take no bullshit attitude, but on the inside he is compassionate and loyal, with a heart of gold.

And that goes back to your opinion.
