during the elektra retraining story wolvie managed to block her sword swipes with his claws without them being cut off... in various old retelling or origin story involving Sabe he had his hand severed by Logan and his samurai sword.

Loeb. To be fair, that happened before Tooth's first upgrade and we know for sure his durability got a boost at least two times.
