I think this has been done before...

IMO, Shin Akuma would win going by merrit of his feats and powerset outstripping Nightmare Geese by a league or two.

Akuma is not weaker than Nightmare Geese, and gameplay wise it's easy to make a cheesy boss. Akuma has always been a great fighting boss. He's technique based and makes you think. Sometimes some of his can be cheesy. But when you have characters that can do a cheap one hit move and win, anybody can do that.

What has Nightmare Geese done that Akuma can't?

Akuma would beat the hell out of Geese.

I've stated this in other threads concerning Geese, but I rank him under the top heros/bosskillers/maincharacters of the typical fighting games we see in this forum. Ryu/Hayabusa/Terry/Jin/Kazuya/Nightmare/Ayane/etc should all take the majority from him.

Giving Akuma the win is a simple matter of tier placement. It's as automatic a response as Thanos or Superboy Prime vs a herald.

well geese is actully original and dosent share moves
akuma is just overrated
c'mon akuma is one of the chepeset boss EVER
in sf2 he was so damn cheap boss
and when ssf4ae shin akuma will be aswell

All characters have their fanboys and Akuma is no exception, but no need to push someone where they don't belong.

They play differently much like Akuma with Ryu.
