Maybe he'll take up chain smoking now like that fat little Asian kid.

Oh yeah, I remember seeing that 2-year-old Malaysian kid on the news. He had some serious dexterity. Many kids his age can't even tie their own shoes, but he could light up and flick his butts with the best of them, without burning himself. And, IIRC, he can also blow o-rings, which is pretty hard.

In Britain you can drink it at a young age, if you have idiotic parents, in your own home, I believe it's no one under 5 or 6 can drink alcohol.

Outside of the house, it's a different thing, certainly not 15.

How old is the drinking age then?

I think England is doing quite well with the gun toting, but you are right obviously, every country has its problems, and every country has it's nice, great people.

When I was that age I would drink anything that sat on the counter overnight, from soda to different types of alcohol. Never became an alcoholic though.

To buy it yourself you have to be 18+

to be honest, I'd like to see the methods they used to define "addiction" here. The term is so poorly used in psychology, and almost never has the same connotation as what we tend to think it does (ie, addicts living on the street or alcoholics suffering from serious addiction and habit). I'm skeptical that "alcoholic" here means anything close to what it would mean for an adult, and probably has more to do with damage caused by alcohol, rather than a psychology...

I was only on a wind up.

A country ie the USA is just a name given to an area of land, the residents are obviously a vast array of weird, daft and wonderful people.
