Hawke versus Grey Warden

This is new to me. Let us see how it works out.

Because Hawke is so much more powerful than Grey Warden, I will arrange the battle so that Hawke is a Mage (Blood, Elemental, Primal) in this battle and the Grey Warden is Warrior (Templar, Spirit Warrior, Berserker)

The setting is the Kirkwall Chantry, where Hawke is currently seeking spiritual aid. The motivation is Hawke has been a complete witch and the Grey Warden just happened to be in the area, talked into aiding Kirkwall despite other obligations. Hawke has a "kill on sight" principle towards templars and the Grey Warden screams of his templar nature.

Standard equipment. The Grey Warden has a templar armor and Hawke has the mage Champion outfit. The weapon of the Grey Warden is what you think would work best against Hawke. Shield and sword, or zweihänder.

Eh.

Is hard to say, considering the difference between Origins and 2.

Magic in 2 is just so much more impressive than it was in Origins.

I would go with Hawke though, if only because Hawke just seems to be so much moar hardcore than the Warden based on presentation, and because according to the lore Blood Magic is essentially the shit.

I don't think that even as a templar can the Grey Warden match the Champion. There's just too huge a gap 😛

Yeah, tbh according to lore, the mage option is always the strongest choice.

Squads of templars are sent to take down single mages for a reason.

And Hawke did take down by far the stronger opponents, IMO.
