I tend to think that beauty is that which you love. I think it would be pretty hard to love something that you don't find in some way beautiful, and it seems unlikely to say that something is beautiful if you don't love it. For example, I could have a wife who I love, but then she is horribly disfigured, however, I still find her beautiful because I love her. That is, the sight of her brings me joy and fulfillment, and a take moral responsibility for her. I think she is beautiful.
Conversely, you could have someone who is super hot, but you don't love them. It would seem hard to say they are beautiful. They may appear beautiful to the person who loves them, but not to you because beauty is not objective. It is subjective. It resides in the perception of the person experiencing it.
