Black Canary vs Nightwing

Chick vs Dick.

Who wins?

No gear/weapons. No scream. Fight in a dojo (Matrix style) in just their gi.

I think Nightwing has better fighting capabilities than black canary not to mention his agility.

I was going to say BC stomps, because she just owned Mammoth with her scream. A guy who is pretty durable and can lift 70 or so tons. But this is a dojo style fight. I say NW 6/10.

Dinah's cry has also taken down Giganta, Green Lantern Constructs and buildings... If she were allowed to use her cry then it be a stomp in her favor.. But, with the stipulations, she takes 9/10.. I give Dick a win, because I'm being generous today. 😄

BC has been trained by Wildcat, Wonder Woman, Shiva, and Cassandra Cain. As well as trainging under Shiva's sensi. She actually has moves like Shiva when fighting to the extent that Cassandra Cain, thought she was Shiva. In terms of strength I believe Nightwing has an advantage as well as acrobatics. But as far as MA skill and speed, I would say Canary has the advantage there to win.

I think Canary and Dick are really odd to place at present because they both keep getting better and better over time.

Prove her mma skills n training are not on par with Shiva. Cause I can easiy prove that they are.

How about her not having any decisive wins over any other high end martial artist sans Brothers in Silk?

Canary has some respect from Shiva, but well, she was looking to Shiva to teach her for awhile, and said teaching produced noticeable improvement that GA and Cass both picked up on. There's still a clear gap there.

Even before trainging with Shiva and Sensi, she was able to stalemate Bronze Tiger in h2h even before the Gail Simone upgrade.

Dinah just doesn't train, she applies what she learns and destroys Savant in their second match. Savant is a very capable fighter who at one time was Oracle's bodyguard.

Destroys League of Assassins member Merlyn. Nice skill feat catching an arrow in mid-air.

Round 2

Quickly owns Green Arrow who spent the past year training with mma masters.

Oracle stated that Black Canary is good enough to take down Batman. Who would know better than the original Batgirl?

Ne1 believe that she is not currently on Shiva's level who hasn't done anything impressive, and actually got tagged and was made to bleed by Huntress in a fight.

Looks like there's some context your aren't showing behind that Bronze Tiger thing.

Canary beat an old lady with no feats. Ok.

Canary beat Savant who is, although strong, not an accomplished fighter. Ok.

She didn't KO Merlyn in the first set of scans and the only reason she got him in the second set is because she used her voice to snap his bow string or something weird.

Yeah, yeah, she's good enough to beat her conflicted ex boyfriend.

Canary would get wins, but she wouldn't take Bruce for a majority.

Shiva didn't want to fight Huntress and it was really just a high end grit-showing for Helen. Let's not try and blow things out of proportion.
