Final vs. Fantasy

Okay, so the title makes no sense, but I am going to have a LOT of matchups based on the Final Fantasy world. Here they are:

1.) Red XIII (FFVII) vs. Kihmari (FFX) - Battle of the bestial creatures!
2.) Cait Sith (FFVII) vs, Quina (FFIX) - Battle of the big pink things!
3.) Locke (FFVI) vs. Zidane (FFIX) - Battle of the "treasure hunters"!
4.) Kain (FFIV) vs. Freya (FFIX) - Battle of the Dragoons!
5.) Reina (FFV) vs. Dagger (FFIX) - Battle of the horned Summoners!
6.) Penance (FFX) vs. Yiazmat (FFXII) - Battle of the ridiculous optional bosses!
7.) Yojimbo (FFX) vs. Odin (FFVIII) - Battle of the single hit kill Summons!
8.) Kefka (FFVI) vs. Sephiroth (FFVII) - Battle of the final villains!
and finally...
9.) Cloud (FFVII) vs. Squall (FFVIII) - Battle of the heroes!

There are a lot more, but I'll settle it at that. There are a couple of characters here that didn't really originate from video games, but I'm hoping an exception is made here.

Against the rules, sorry. If you want to see the outcome of this legimitely, you will have to divide it into nine threads. In addition, character that did not originate in a video-game are not allowed under any condition.
