Legion has the potential to blow Dr. Strange out of the water in both categories. But we need to wait, and see how Age of X wraps up
Telepathy.
Back when his mind was broken in 3 separate personalities, it was stated that he was 10 times the psi Xavier was. So when he merged his personas (Legions Quest) he became many times more powerful.
If it turns out that he is responsible for Age of X, this would mean that he not only had the telepathic capacity to effect the entire universe, but effect the Phoenix Force as well….that’s just utterly monstrous.
Raw Power
Recently Legion wiped the Elder Gods out of existence, via reality warpaing the 616 verse.
If it turns out he is responsible for Age of X, this would mean he warped the mess out of reality 616 again. This time by separating his own space “the Age of X“, from the main reality, and placing the remainder of 616 reality in a small box.
The Draw Back
Unfortunately, he still operates with the mentality/maturity of a 10 year old, with the powers of an Cosmic Space God. This Man-God’s “Achilles heel”, is his fragile mind. I could see Strange beating Legion by exposing this, considering his resources. But as far as internalized power goes, Legion is in a different league with the capacity to grow more powerful.
Hell, he is this powerful already, and we’ve yet to see what will become of him when he merges, and reforms all his personalities into a single mind. Supposedly this will grant him not just the powers of each, but the lifetime experience of each individual. Fu@k!
Originally posted by "Id"agreed. TP requires focus and I'd put strange mystic TP above xavier anyways in terms of potential use. we've seen mystics with far below stranges power control more people than Xavier has on his best days.

Strange has lost to TP before... the eye can defeat almost all illusions and mental intrusions, but it is not flawless and extremely powerful beings have been known to get around it.

I dont get how him warping the 616 into a box means he mindraped the whole universe. he only recreated the memories of the non-telepaths in utopia as far as we can tell. all the telepaths were kept subdued by danger in the brig and they retained their memories of the past reality, so did blindfold. he also warped everyone into believing that there are no mutant powers that can screw with the mind, which logan told rogue.
the retarded legion that ran arround his head with a doll in his hands was a 10 year old, but the 'true legion' persona that emerged at the end of the limbo arc with eybrows that spit in god's face is a different story
Regarding my claim of Universal Telepathy: In the 616 verse, no one is aware or questioning what Legion did the universe.
I figured that must have taken some serious mental power, if they are going about their business without missing the entire crew of New Mutants, & X-Men Legacy. Than you have him mind wiping the Phoenix Force/avatar (what ever it comes out to be), which should place him high above the top tier telepaths in regards to Mental Force.
Originally posted by "Id"a hologram of utopia would suffice for that, I think that's just the writers neglecting it though.

he did put hope in a daze, but she is pretty inept. chuck the cuckoos and blindfold didnt buy the warp however.
