So I'm watching the Clone Wars movie, about halfway through. I was almost turned off by all the campy dialogue, stupid plotline, blocky animation and childish simplicity... but then I was totally pulled in by the pretty colors, explosions, and cool stuff.

Lucas is a f*cking genius.

EDIT: Oh and apparently, Anakin can tell that Jabba's son has a fever by putting his gloved mechanical hand over its head.

With the exception of some intriguing moments regarding half assed attempts to make the CIS less EVIL (which involve some of the most absurd retcons ever made,) and the aforementioned badass Count moments (or Cad Bane,) TWC is horrendously awful, even for a kids show. There are some awesome kid shows out there, so its not like the kiddie label was going to kill it outright. Avatar was a kid show and it was ****ing awesome.

**** yeah it was.

2012 needs to hurry up. Legend of Korra's gonna kick ass.
