Not that heresay matters, but in the DD instance that he appeared in, he grew a canon out of his arm that he stated could kill supergirl. You could argue that since he did it to the eradicator in the return of superman arc, he might have been telling the truth about the oneshot kill thing. Meh. I dunno.
