Because he is the main character of one of the best, if not arguably the best, Star Wars game.

For others, like myself, they like the plot of the game and the "unique" opportunities Revan's story offers to the mythos.

To be fair, Revan is a bad enough dude in cutscenes and stuff that I can get over the player template aspect.

A great game can't be made without good main characters. Republic Commando is arguably my favourite Star Wars game and the main characters have some of the best lines.

Good news for you then: LucasFilm recently purchased the successor engine to that w on which Republic Commando was run and they rehired the game designer. Possible sequel in da wurkz.

Republic Commando was so epic. We need more stuff like that rather than lame-o Ashoka.

There were many. Empire At War rocked, IMHO.

i think Empire at War was the one I was talking about. It bored me, it seemed like a different version of the previous games based on Age of Empires.
