Obi-wan (episode III) vs qui gon

Obi-wan kenobi from episode three vs qui gon jinn from episode one.

Location :were darth maul killed qui gon

Positions: Both at a different end.

Who wins?

I think obi-wan kenobi wins.

Obi-Wan has lot of practical experience fighting dark jedi and Sith at this point, and is battle-hardened, whereas Qui-Gon - while a good jedi in general - showed in TPM that he did not have what it takes to overcome a crafty and patient opponent. His Ataru style is all about aggressive and direct assault without any real defense. Obi-Wan has a greater chance of wearing him out and exploiting a weakness.

Qui-Gon would never get through his Soresu. Obi would win after a protracted duel.

His style doesn't rush things, though, and Qui-gon's supposed to be not bad himself.

I'd give the nod to Jinn if that were the case. But against RotS Kenobi? NOPE!!

Yeah, I was thinking pretty much the same.
Jinn would handle AotC Kenobi.
