Swamp Thing vs Blob

Here's the deal, Blob can affix himself to the ground, but what if the ground (or plants permeating it) are under the Swamp Thing's control?

Does the Blob have enough strength to override the Swamp Thing's regenerative abilities and can he stop from being overwhelmed by the plant based attacks?

Swamp Thing is more than physically strong enough to overcome Blob's power with ease. Blob gets utterly wrecked

Swamp Thing murders Blob from inside his own stomach.

Overriding ST's regen is basically impossible.

The way he's portrayed, all of his bodies are basically constructs being animated by his spirit. Destroy one body, and he just makes another from The Green...

And yeah, he can use Blobs own intestinal flora against him too (Although that's kind of an example of comic book science... or hell, outright bad research. Intestinal flora is NOT plant life. It's bacteria...)
