I've never been very impressed by Durron, no matter what anyone has said about him.

In earlier years here, people have always said that he was rusty with the lightsaber.

I remember the scene where he was gang-raped by three Slayers in The Unifying Force well.

A group of Slayers ambushed Han, Leia and Kyp, with the intention of capturing them, and while two Slayers rushed Leia and Han (firing a stun-dart into Han's neck) Kyp attacked one of them, who parried his strike, and as Kyp Force jumped into the air, the amphistaff of one of the Slayers caught Kyp's ankle and slammed him back into the ground, roughly.

The Slayers then ganged up on him and beat the shit out of him, until he couldn't move.

Yeah. After that whenever someone made an argument about Kyp being an amazing fighter, I'd just shake my head.

Katarn has been through more, he's a Battlemaster and has probably learned more abilities as well.

EDIT: They were all subsequently captured afterwards, as well.
