or did he tk it from earth
In the movie, Ramona is telling Scott about Todd. She says "He punched a hole in the moon for me."

It shows the comic drawing of Todd flying to the moon.

So it implied that he traveled to the moon and punched a hole in the moon for her. Didn't literally show him traveling through space though.

The Vegan could've been as strong as Dr Manhattan for all we know. He wills it it happens.

He just didn't have any brains or imagination. So he got fooled and beaten.

OK I'll make it easy. Your opinion is that Todd can TK solid objects, but not liquids, right?

No.

I actually made it quite easy to understand.

Todd cannot pick up liquids. I'm not sure how you concluded what you did.

Can't. This is why I said "discuss."

There's nothing another person can do to prove that, as well.

Because Superman is an *******.

You do realize that when a Jedi performs an amazing jump, higher and farther than humanly capable, that's TK, right?

Force jump is definitely not flying around with TK. Why would you even waste time bringing that up?

Jedi, not Jedi's. You wouldn't say "Chinese's."

Even good ol' George Lucas messes up and says "Jedis" everynow and then.

It's not like you're doing any good telling me this because I don't seem to be doing it correctly despite the previous 2 times you've "corrected" me. 🙂

No, no, no, no...

YOU tell ME, not the other way around.

That's MY question to YOU: why can't Yoda fly around? 🙂

He should be able to...but he can't and doesn't.

Well, unfortunately his power of flight is never delved into. [/B]

It actually is: Superman is envoloped in a psionic field that allows him to control where he places himself. It's a form of TK. Anything in this field can also levitate with him.

However, he does not have TK. 🙂

Even in the field of psionics (reality, not fiction), there is a separte term used for flight.

Here's Scott battling Todd:

YouTube video

Yeah, I'd say he can handle a Terminator.

FF to 4:27, it looks like he can also move at porting speed.

My coworker said that he never punched a hole in the moon and she was exaggerating specifically to get back at Scott.

Makes sense since Todd never fly around with any level of "quickness." It was slow and low to the ground.

I say that the motivations to make such a statement are high and based on his screen feats, he did not show he could fly very far or even fast enough to reach "escape velocity."

I was wrong about the Chi stuff. Todd has powers that border mystical.

He beats the terminator.

He literally has no way to harm the T-1000.

He can punch and TK throw it all he wants: it's still not going to harm the T-1000.

The T-1000 clearly showed that physical punches from "superhuman strength" T-800s would do nothing: he just "absorbs" the hand.

You just said "Todd cannot pick up liquids." I said "Your opinion is that Todd can TK solid objects, but not liquids, right?."

???

Never mind, it actually had little to do with the debate at hand anyway.

Force jump is definitely not flying around with TK. Why would you even waste time bringing that up?
They use TK to enhance their jump, dude. They jump higher because of it, and they move faster because of it.

Remember when Obi Wan was kicked down by Maul in TPM, then made that massive jump to the platform above? TK.

Even good ol' George Lucas messes up and says "Jedis" everynow and then.

So you go hunting for deer's? Were there Viet Cong's in Vietnam?

No, no, no, no...

YOU tell ME, not the other way around.

He should be able to...but he can't and doesn't.

Because obviously his level of TK does not allow him to.

Todd can levitate off the ground, can fly to the moon. Stronger TK, see? Stronger TK makes flight possible. Dark Phoenix FTW.

What is said in the link coincides with what is said in the movie. It also shows the comic drawing in the movie as she explains what he did, you can see him flying to the moon.

So yes, he punched a hole in the moon for her.

Rapes it. Prison rapes it. Doesn't even use lube.

And you don't see how that is unrelated?

Additionally, to actually answer your silly questions:

Todd can TK solid objects becuse he was shown doing so.

Todd can obviously pick up solid objects because he was holding a cup (it's super duper retarded that I have to even explain this to you).

Todd was never shown being able to TK liquids.

We cannot have Todd TK liquid because he wasn't shown doing so AND TK-ing liquid is much more difficult to do than TK-ing solids because you have to create a "TK" container to hold the liquid in.

Not only should I have not had to explain that to you, you should have clearly seen why your questions were a giant strawman. And just so you know what a strawman is:

"A straw man is a component of an argument and is an informal fallacy based on misrepresentation of an opponent's position."

You clearly were trying to implicitly misrepresent my position, which is a strawman.

Sure, pretend like that wasn't a game you were playing.

The "at hand" still does not have any sort of legitimate outcome that you were trying to manipulate in your favor: there's too many contradicting examples that make it impossible for you to make a case for what you were trying to do.

Face it: you failed.

Stop.

You should not have continued this line of reasoning. It should have ended with what I said, originally, and not had you reply with "they use TK to help them force jump! NARF! dur

It should have ended before you even brought that up. You're wasting your time.

Herp ta derp derp. dur

Irrelevant.

I knew that this was actually what you were trying to do which is why I shut you down.

No, that's no the case. Superman has no TK yet he can fly with a psionic field.

Boom.

Xavier, in the comics, has TK but it is not strong enough to make himself fly.

Boom.

Most Jedi's can exert more than enough force to fly around, but none can fly.

Boom.

Why is this? In the field of psionics, it's considered a different "ability" than the standard "move objects with your mind" TK.

Boom.

But it's not the same thing, at all, and cannot be used the same way. There you! 😄

"It wasn't until later that he met Envy and the two started dating, at which point he once again punched another hole in the moon to prove his love for her this time (but he did not actually punch a hole in the moon: it was allegorical)."

Lulz, yeah.

Todd being cocky as he was in the movie throws a punch at the T-1000 who absorbs the fist and then surrounds Todd and smothers him to death.

And there it is, "just cuz."

Epic fail.

I stopped paying attention, right about what?
The moon punch thing.

Todd's arrogance would be his undoing, he'd walk up and punch the T-1000, thinking his own uber awesomeness would obliterate it; his hand would go through and then T-1000 would impale his ass.

Unless Todd has some sort of uber durability against sharp objects I don't recall?

With knowledge beforehand, the T-1000 wouldn't touch Todd. Though I'm not sure how Todd would take it down for good.

Where did you read that?

I am not finding what you quoted in that page.

Funny...he would go on and punch the t-1000 and yet all he did in the movie was TK throw Scott around like a ragdoll. He gets a couple of wins via Battlefield removal alone if that counts here.
