The new superman looks promising, you don't like it?

I'm not liking the "Less Clark/not married," bits. The previews released seem to make him more into the brooding type.

Wonder Woman looks fairly promising, Justice League Dark and the magic stuff, Blue Beetle being back is always good... but all in all it looks like they're trying to make DC more Wildstorm-esque. And while I like Wildstorm as Wildstorm, I also like DC's flavor and I don't think this is a good move.

the edge line def has a wildstorm vibe. but the heroes line like swamp thing, animal man, jla dark, captan atom, etc... just seems more dc/vertigo, which is cool.

Yea. The Vertigo-esque stuff looks cool. And stuff like Stormwatch, which is supposed to be Wildstorm-esque, looks cool.

It's the stuff that I'd want to be DC-esque but looks Wildstorm-esque that I'm getting iffy vibes on.

are u going to pick up stormwatch and demon knights?

the oy book that feels ws is teen titans. everything else has its own feel. dc really went out and produced a wide variety of books. which is a good thing.

The take on Superman and the JLA seems Wildstormy- especially Superman, the emphasis on the alien and the "kryptonian armor" outfit strikes me as moving him more towards Majestros. Not to mention Supergirl ("All the powers of Superman, none of his affection for Earth"😉 and Superboy ("They thought he was a failed experiment, but he became a deadly weapon."😉.

Stormwatch, probably in trades unless the first issue looks really good. Demon Knights, nah, I'm not a big Etrigan fan, even though it doesn't look bad.

The ones I'm currently looking at getting-
WW, maybe Mr. Terrific and Voodoo, Justice League Dark, and Blue Beetle.

Everything else I'm going to wait for reviews/previews, etc..

As of now, I'll probably check out:

Action Comics
Superman
Justice League of America

Everything else, I might check into after a while, but I don't see myself collecting them.

im going to have to disagree on a couple things. kryptonians wore armor before so its nothing new. and action has a very golden age feel to it. pnlus morrison said it will have a all-star superman vibe to it. forgot about voodoo, though. i hope we see more of ws personally. since we'll probably not see ws earth again.

Oh yea, Titans and Red Hood + The Outlaws are giving me something of a WS vibe too.

Heck, even Nightwing looks grittier.

How does Firestorm fit into this mess (if at all)?

Not even Morrison's Action Comics? Jeff Lemire's Animal Man? Scott Snyder's Swamp Thing? Peter Milligan's JLA: Dark? Jeff Lemire's Frankenstein? Paul Cornell's Stormwatch?

I don't think mere words can describe how much I f*cking hate Geoff Johns. I hope DC tanks because they listened to this big, wet, flopping douche bag.
I feel the need to say it again:

I'm legitimately terrified at the thought of Johns writing Batman for a considerable length of time, interacting with his pet characters - Jordan, Barry and Aquaman.
You can also add Superman there.

Wonder how Diana's relationship with Clark will playout. Will she be a fangirl? Will he be all over her like he was in the beginning of Post Crisis? hmm

I much prefer the more subtle Diana redesign I'm seeing here than the leggings.

Not really- but if it turns out to be good I expect you to let me know. uhuh
Not really
Probably- I'm curious to see where they take him.
Not really
Probably- I love Frankie.
Not really

So they really have gone back to no-pants after all of *14 issues*, even though the pants were fairly popular. Nice willpower there, DC 🙂

Superman's evolution from the Golden Age version to the contemporary one, written by one of the best Superman writers of all time and then followed by adventures in the modern era? For shame, Galan.

These days it's all metafictional this and multiversal that for you, isn't it? uhuh

With all the stupid ass outfits other characters got, they change Wonder Woman's? Her pants look was an improvement, and one of the few outfits that actually looked good.

I keep on forgetting about Frankenstein. It's gonna be great.

Don't try and fool us, Galan, we all know you're going to pick up some books.

Grifter and the Resistance.
