I just wish that everyone started with a medium range gun like the AR and had to pick up a BR/DMR/Carbine/LR from the map so that every gunfight isn't a jump/strafe match from 1million meters away. I find myself using the BR a little more though because it takes one less shot than the DMR to kill and is generally better at medium range.
Not sure how I feel about snipers not being knocked out of zoom when hit anymore... makes sniping very easy.
If I can get commendations and complete challenges for War Games on custom maps I'll play them, but otherwise I'm gonna continue enjoying Team BR's: the game. I also usually only play Halo on the weekends because if I didn't restrict myself that's all I'd do.

Hmm last I checked the BR and DMR took the same ammount of trigger presses/shots to kill an opponent(5) Unless they buffed the BR but I haven't heard of any title updates. The community forge map has some maps that favor the BR over the DMR IMO Anyways cool. Hopefully we can play sometime if my lowly K/D ratio doesn't turn you off.
Edit CSR – Competitive Skill Rank
We have been working closely with several internal teams on optimizing the ranking system, and working to integrate it into your Waypoint player profile, accessible on web, phone and tablet.
More Details:
- You will have a unique CSR visible per playlist.
- Your highest CSR across all playlists will be promoted in the player profile on Halo Waypoint.
- CSR uses familiar 1-50 scale.
- When CSR launches, everyone will start with a fresh rating.
Our targeted launch date for CSR is April 2013, and we will be re-configuring some of our most competitive playlists to accommodate the launch of the feature.
Looks very similar to what we had in Halo 3, except that the high skill isn't displayed in game. I really hope they make it maddeningly difficult to reach a 50, so that there is real separation in the ranks.

343 just does not get it. Make the rank visible in-game. No one is going to bother going to waypoint. People liked ranks because everyone could see them and they could be used to brag. That is the only reason people want it, yet you're making them use waypoint? That shitty website/application that fails to properly follow stats and is down half the time? We also have to wait 4 months? F U 343. I'm surprised how a company that managed to make Halo's meta-game feel right can **** up everything else that should be child's play compared to the gameplay.
